Living Windows

Tonight after work, the hubby and I decided to go downtown Moberly to the Annual Living Windows Festival. It was quite festive and so very cold. It was fun. Most business windows are decorated for Christmas with people acting out scenes from everyday life. I took a few pictures. I hope you enjoy.

I liked this one because the girls were really playing Operation and not really paying any attention to the crowds in front of the windows. This is something many do in front of a cozy fire right?

I love this couple too. The look on the little "Joseph's" face is so sweet. And the all caring Mary.

This was in an antique window. I believe the asking price on this "new" stove is $599. The hubby and I wondered what the price was on this high dollar appliance when it was new.

The Maurices windo. Only one girl on her cell phone? Come on now...

This scene consisted of a family decorating their tree. The puppy was performing tricks. Only in this picture, he looks like he's doing something funky...

This is 15 month old baby Cole. He was stiff as a board. Frozen? Probably. He wasn't crying, but I think he was starting to glaze over.

Suave dudes in the men's store.

Finally Santa Claus and his reigndeer. This deer is beautiful.

This was probably my favorite window. Even though there were no living creatures found here, it was magical...

Very nice pics. I have never heard of a Living Windows display - that is cool!

All the talk about how cold it is made me shiver. I have faint memories of being very cold and it wasn't nice. I don't know if I could take being in the cold any more.

Have a super weekend.

Great photos, am just getting into the Christmas spirit. We are putting up the tree tomorrow.
Your children must have had sparkles in their eyes.
When granddaughter was 5 we had to put out reindeer food and my darling was out at midnight making sleigh tracs with 2 X 4s and neighbours took photos.
Ahhh the memories of the young.
