A Snowy Christmas Eve

We have been welcomed to Christmas Eve with new snow. Snow on top of ice. So now my front yard is extremely slick. I hope the postman is forgiving. I know I should throw this pumpkin out, I will. Some day...
My favorite tree.

Up the street a little. Why can't our little town bury the power lines?

An out of control redbud.

Down the hill from us.

Part of the neighbors yard joining ours. There used to be 2 identical Flowering Pear Trees in the middle of that yard. In January, 2001, it looked like 2 bombs dropped right down the center of both trees. The old lady that lived there loved those trees. I know her heart was broken.

Got a lot to do today. I may be back later, no promises though. Everyone have a fun and safe day!! Merry Christmas Eve!!!

And here, just a little east of you, we have sunshine and no snow. My friend's (in Lebanon)son, who lives in Moberly, just called them to let them know they would not be there today and maybe not tomorrow. His truck slid off in a ditch.

Jim was out at Cuivre for a little Christmas get together with his linemen buddies, last night. They were hearing all the bad weather reports and wondering if they would be called out. Bowling Green and north of here and west of Warrenton is what we've heard. Our temps have dropped a little since early this morning. I don't know what the precipt. prediction is for here. I'm sending your link to my friend in Lebanon so they can see the photos.

Merry Christmas to you and yours Lisa! Stay safe on those hazardous roads!

Oh, what pretty pictures of the snow and your beautiful tree and home. Merry, merry Christmas, dear friend. I so adore your sweet spirit and heart... I have loved it that you have a blog because I can just hear you every time you post... Hands down, your laugh is the brightest, most beautiful laugh in the whole wide world... I hope you have occasion to do just that much much this year... Hugs from all of us to you, your mama, and "the hubby." Be cozy...
