Own up to it as quickly as possible. Ask for forgiveness and pray!
Does this have anything to do with painting your kitchen?
If not, I am with the others...pray...seek wisdom and be honest. Humility goes much farther than defensiveness.

Oh, honey... I don't know. Mistakes can be on so many levels, there isn't one set answer. It's all relative. I don't know. Maybe it will work out on its own? You've got me worried!
guess you have to face it whatever it was, no one else can fix things better than the person who made the mistake in the first place.....good luck
