Thank You Terry!!

It was such a windy, but beautiful day today. Hubby went mushroom hunting, but had no luck. I planted a few new plants and just hung out all day. Wind or no wind, I can deal with this kind of weather any day. Mom and I tried roasted cauliflower for the first time while hubby grilled steak outside. Yummy. Very good meal. He's becoming quite the grill master. The bad part was I forgot to fix onions and mushrooms. How on earth did I manage that one? Hopefully the weather will hold up so we can do some more work in the yard.

As for the moles. They are still moving a little. However our neighbor has killed 4 of them already in the past couple of weeks. He may be our saving grace!! Thank you Terry!!

Hey Lisa! We are trying very hard to be Spring-like out here but temps are going down into the 20's at night and not out of the 40's most of this week ... give me some of that good old MO weather!

Roasted cauliflower sounds delicious. Growing up, my mom served cauliflower often. I should make it more often. Thanks for the reminder.

My brother hunts mushrooms too.

I would be terrified to eat them after how he has told us how dangerous the look alikes can be.

Still, I think it is cool.

Lisa, J has been using a mix of tobasco, chili powder and dish soap on the moles and it seems to be working. I don't know what all goes in it. I'll ask him later, for the "recipe". He's going up to have coffee with the guys at work, this morning.

I'm back with...
Mole Chaser Tonic Mix
1.5 tablespoon Tobasco Sauce
1 tablespoon liquid dish soap
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 quart water.

J says where he put this mixture, the moles have not returned.

Hope this helps with your mole dilemma.
