A Room With a View

Yesterday I rearranged my bedroom in order to move the bed away from the big bay window at the front of the room. In the winter time it gets a little bit chilly there. Or at least that's my take on it. Having our bed there gave our room a much larger appearance. But we never enjoyed that big bay window because we kept the curtains pulled since the head of our bed was positioned there. I moved the bed to the west wall and thought Reynaldo would like having the curtains pulled open. He truly enjoys basking in the sunshine. Figuring he could stretch out and have at it, he had other plans. Take a look...

This is what he thought about that...

Hi Lisa....boy being gone two weeks I have missed alot..I was just about to read your post when I got your comment...how weird is that....Your stuffed shells looked delicious....Now you need to try manicotti making your own crepes to stuff....it's all about the cheese.your husband will never want spagetti again.....and you gotta love cats....although I hate cats but I'm getting used to them being around our Miss Kitty in Jersey.....The world can come to an end and they will just sit and sleep.....I like that.

Your bed looks pretty with a cat! Let's see more of the quilt. I am squinting, trying to get a better view.

ha funny lisa, I was going to put the pillow shams on this quilt, but why on earth would they put 2 standard shams with a king size quilt. I love this quilt. I bought it last spring for summer but never got a bedskirt. Didn't use it until last week. Now I'm wondering why. I bought it cheap CHEAP off ebay.

How funny that you hate saurkraut....I adore it and make it all the time...a little apple..some onion..a little red potato all shredded up with some Dijon mustard...cooked for like 2 hours...there is nothing better.... you don't know what your missing...I just set my table for Tablescape Thursday with a October Fest theme...We love Germany....Anyhoo, no I am not that ambitious to make my own cheese....Although if the husband had brought home that baby sheep that was left in his car at the Walmart I might be in the cheesemaking business...I use Polly-O....and I never made my own shells, never even thought about it. but I have always hated the thickness of both the shells and the manicotti...it's just too much dough....so when I saw someone make manicotti crepes and filled those with cheese I tried it and they were fabulous...and so easy to make...I was afraid I would screw it up but it was a breeze...if you want the recipe just send me an e-mail...
