The Things We Do For Love

See this ugly thing???? Me too. Everyday. I hate it, absolutely hate it. But, hubby loves it. LOVES it. He snatched it up at the Cardinals store. Afraid of where it might be going, I put it to the back of my mind. As soon as we got home, on the front porch it went. Normally this is where I like to hang a basket of flowers or wind chimes. This is my new decor for 8 possible months of the year. I'm excited can you tell? Why on earth do people make things like this? Kinda like those old ugly silk flower arrangements you get on occasion. The ones in primary colors or the color of peach. Trying to spare my hubby future agony, I told him it would probably get stolen. "Nah" he said, "I doubt it." I seriously doubt it too.

Oh, the things we do for love.

Funny!

I used to see these made from soda bottles. Have you seen those? Perhaps one of our famous winds will come along and take care of the situation. Not one of the big damaging winds, just one of those little sudden bursts. You know the kind I'm talking about!

You're a nicer wife than I will ever be. I think the wind would be carrying that far away.

Maybe you should steal it in the middle of the night...put it somewhere it can never be found and totally act surprised to your hubby that "someone" stole it! ;)
