Do you ever hear old cliches or sayings that drive you up the wall? Probably one that has stuck out with me for the past year is, "my bad". Really?
I love words. Truly I do. So when new phrases or old phrases are stated, I either love 'em or hate 'em.
Now there is one cliche I hear quite frequently. It makes my skin crawl. Seriously, I would love to know the person that invented this one. After hearing it just recently, I decided to take my frustrations out on my blog.
Ready?
I bet you already know what it is...
Baby lovers beware...
Baby's mamas of boys sit tight...
Here it is...
"HE'S ALL BOY!!! HE REALLY IS!!" What in the hell does this mean? I've heard it said about brand new boy babies, boys who aren't quite babies anymore and toddlers who are definitely no longer babies. Really, is there some confusion somewhere? Or is it a relief? Or just some sort of resounding jubilation on the reporter that this young person really does have a penis?
Maybe, just maybe, this is where the obsession begins????

I'm with you on the 'my bad' ... it creeps me out!
Freaky..I was just writing about words that drive me crazy.
All boy brings to mind wild kids. I don't deal with any of that crap. Well, there was this one visitor here who was running in circles. If his parents had stopped ignoring him, they might have used those words. I prefer all girl, even for boys. Girls don't run in the house, and hit.
